I am currently working as an IT tutor, so these views are in no way to be interpreted as any official policy or view of my employer.  They are my personal views and I don't advocate or present any teaching of these views in my lessons.  I might express my views, occasionally.

1. Downloading Music and burning CD's

I think the drummer from Metallic has made an incorrect analogy i.e. "If a mechanic can download my music for free then he should come over to my house and fix my car for free."

That is like saying the FORD motor company should have a fee from everyone with a Hot-Rod.  The music files that are downloaded and burnt are modified versions, just as a Hot-Rod is a modified version of a car.  Once you have purchased the product - well, it's the same as the Rodders having a "swap meet."

2. Nuke the Gypsy-Moth

People are fleeing from their homes

Get a life, one minute everyone is condemning the Government for not acting swiftly enough about the bee virus.  Now they are (vocal minority) fleeing their homes.  I would be 90% certain everyone has some Black Flag or similar insecticide resident in their homes.  Don't they think that is being just a little bit hypercritical.
